This
certification is generally recognized as the minimum requirement
to charter a vessel for day cruising during daylight hours in
local waters. Topics covered are: handling a powerboat while
underway, docking, anchoring, person overboard and retrieval
drills, weather, collision regulations, charting, basic
navigation as well as the Canadian Aids to Navigation System.
Make the most of your course time with the two days on the water
putting your skills to practice.
This course will
provide you with a QuickNAV and International Power And Sail
(ISPA) Power Certification. Each of these certifications
can be taken together or separate to suit your time frame. If
you do not require any certification from these organisations,
QuickNAV will provide you with a log book showing the training
which you have completed to complement your Boating
Certification.
Upon completion
you will also receive your Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) /
Boating Card.
Classes are limited to 4 persons per boat
for on the water training
