Coastal Navigation

 

This Coastal Navigation course consists of six evenings along with an on-the-water practical session, a combination of a printed text/workbook for home study, sample and real time chart work, and e-mail instructor assistance.  Navigational tools used during the course include dividers, a paraller ruler, and charts.

This course, along with our Basic Power or Basic Sail Courses with hands on training, entitles you to charter in local Vancouver and international waters during daylight hours.

 Plotting instruments can be purchased at the school at our student discount.
